What You’ll Do:
The MicroStrategy Architect will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise business intelligence and analytics solutions. This role will define MicroStrategy architecture standards, semantic models, dashboards, reports, and scalable analytics frameworks. The architect will work closely with data architects, data engineers, cloud teams, application teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into meaningful insights. The position will focus on integrating MicroStrategy with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. The architect will also provide technical leadership for BI modernization, platform governance, security, and performance optimization. This role requires a strong combination of hands-on MicroStrategy expertise, data architecture knowledge, and enterprise analytics experience.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design and maintain enterprise MicroStrategy architecture, semantic layers, dashboards, dossiers, reports, and analytical applications.
- Develop attributes, facts, metrics, hierarchies, security filters, cubes, caching strategies, scheduling, and subscription frameworks.
- Integrate MicroStrategy with Amazon Redshift and other enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and analytical data marts.
- Optimize MicroStrategy platform performance, complex SQL queries, report execution, caching, and Intelligence Server configurations.
- Partner with data architects, data engineers, cloud engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to define scalable BI solutions.
- Establish BI architecture standards, governance practices, security controls, documentation, and platform administration best practices.
- 10+ years of enterprise BI, analytics, or data experience with significant hands-on MicroStrategy architecture and development experience.
- Proven experience as a MicroStrategy Architect, BI Architect, Analytics Architect, Lead MicroStrategy Developer, or similar senior technical role.
- Strong expertise with MicroStrategy Architect/Developer, Intelligence Server, Workstation, Library, Dossiers, reports, documents, and administration.
- Strong experience integrating MicroStrategy with Amazon Redshift or comparable cloud-based enterprise data warehouse platforms.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, data marts, relational modeling, and performance optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Salary: $140,000-$180,000
The pay range provided is a good-faith estimate and represents the range the company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Individual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and business needs.
