What You’ll Do:
Navitas is seeking a highly skilled AI Solution Architect (Lead) to lead the design, integration, and technical architecture of enterprise AI and intelligent automation solutions supporting Government and public sector modernization initiatives. This role will drive the development of scalable, secure, and innovative AI ecosystems across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments while supporting enterprise transformation and mission-critical operational needs.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the design and architecture of enterprise AI, intelligent automation, and cloud modernization solutions supporting Government and regulated industry environments.
  • Architect scalable AI ecosystems involving generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks, conversational AI, automation platforms, analytics, and AI orchestration services.
  • Design secure cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises enterprise architectures utilizing AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or equivalent enterprise technologies.
  • Develop enterprise integration strategies connecting AI solutions with APIs, ERP platforms, ITSM systems, operational technologies, analytics platforms, enterprise data environments, and business applications.
  • Lead architecture governance reviews, technical design workshops, integration planning sessions, and solution optimization initiatives.
  • Define architecture standards, integration frameworks, scalability models, and enterprise AI implementation best practices.
  • Support enterprise AI initiatives involving vector databases, model lifecycle management, AI observability, MLOps, orchestration frameworks, and AI governance controls.
  • Collaborate with program leadership, engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity teams, developers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational objectives.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements including FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, NIST, Zero Trust, and related compliance frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership for enterprise modernization efforts supporting mission-critical and high-availability operational environments.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI platforms, cloud services, and integration methodologies to support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support technical roadmaps, modernization strategies, architecture documentation, and executive-level technical briefings.
What You’ll Need:
  • 10+ years of continuous experience designing enterprise architecture, cloud solutions, AI/ML systems, or advanced technology modernization initiatives.
  • 3+ years supporting Generative AI or enterprise AI transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise AI ecosystems involving generative AI, LLMs, RAG frameworks, automation platforms, AI analytics, and conversational AI technologies.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale AI modernization initiatives supporting large user communities, complex integrations, cloud-native platforms, and mission-critical operational environments.
  • Strong experience designing scalable and secure cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or equivalent enterprise platforms.
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, ITSM platforms, ERP systems, analytics environments, operational technologies, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead architecture governance reviews, technical design sessions, integration planning, and enterprise solution optimization efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field from an accredited institution required.
  • Nine (9) years of qualifying solution architecture experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements.
Set yourself apart:
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Experience with enterprise AI platforms, AI governance frameworks, and responsible AI implementation practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise DevSecOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data governance, metadata management, and AI security best practices.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, technical solutioning, and strategic modernization planning within Government contracting environments.
