What You’ll Do:
Navitas is seeking a skilled GIS Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level GIS environments across Production and Development systems. This role will support mission-critical geospatial capabilities, ensuring secure, stable, and scalable operations within a high-security federal environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Design, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise GIS systems across PROD and DEV environments.
  • Manage and support systems on Windows and/or Linux operating environments.
  • Administer RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL), including writing SQL queries.
  • Configure, optimize, and support Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, and associated APIs/interfaces.
  • Develop scripts and automation using Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
  • Support and troubleshoot network components, including domains, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load balancers.
  • Configure and maintain authentication services such as SAML, Web Tier authentication, or OIDC.
  • Assist with cloud-based systems operations (SysOps) and migration efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all security and operational requirements within a TS/SCI environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support GIS modernization and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining enterprise GIS systems.
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or a STEM-related field.
  • Strong system administration skills on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and SQL scripting.
  • Expertise with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, and related APIs/interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of at least one scripting/programming language (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, etc.).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, load balancing, etc.).
  • Understanding of authentication systems (SAML, OIDC, Web Tier).
  • Experience with cloud SysOps processes and tools.
Set Yourself Apart With:
  • Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field
  • ArcGIS Enterprise Administration Professional certification
  • One or more industry-standard IT certifications (such CompTIA, Microsoft, Amazon)
  • Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Notebook Server, ArcGIS Monitor and their associates APIs or interfaces
