What You’ll Do:
Navitas is seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Manager to support research operations by managing research question tracking, metadata governance, data discoverability, and report dissemination. The Knowledge Manager will ensure that research products are structured, accessible, and aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) tradecraft standards. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and technical expertise to integrate research outputs into structured dashboards and enterprise knowledge systems.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end research question tracking and lifecycle management.
- Establish and maintain metadata governance frameworks to ensure data consistency, quality, and discoverability.
- Design and implement structured data cataloging and tagging/classification schemes.
- Integrate research findings into dashboards and reporting platforms for enterprise visibility.
- Support knowledge graph integration to enhance data relationships and research traceability.
- Oversee report dissemination processes to ensure timely and secure delivery of research products.
- Ensure alignment of research outputs with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) tradecraft standards.
- Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to standardize research documentation and metadata practices.
- Apply data governance best practices to ensure compliance, traceability, and auditability of research artifacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Knowledge Management, Data Management, Intelligence Studies, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting research, analytics, or intelligence programs in structured data environments.
- Experience working in environments aligned with DoD and/or Intelligence Community standards is required.
- Expertise in metadata management frameworks and structured data cataloging.
- Strong understanding of knowledge graph integration and data lineage concepts.
- Proficiency in organizing and classifying research inquiries and analytical outputs.
- Experience developing tagging, classification, and taxonomy models.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex research outputs into structured, discoverable formats.
- Experience integrating research products into dashboards and enterprise reporting tools
- Active TS/SCI
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance frameworks and research lifecycle management tools.
