What You’ll Do:
Navitas is seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to design, deploy, and manage containerized applications in cloud-native environments. The Kubernetes Engineer will support enterprise and mission-critical systems by building resilient, secure, and scalable Kubernetes platforms. This role requires hands-on expertise in cluster orchestration, CI/CD automation, container networking, and cloud infrastructure services.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Orchestrate containerized workloads, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Deploy and manage applications using Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications and infrastructure deployments.
- Implement Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service discovery.
- Integrate and manage service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd.
- Implement security best practices including RBAC, secrets management, and container image security.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack tools.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to cluster health and application performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and development teams to support cloud-native application delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent professional experience in Kubernetes administration.
- Demonstrated experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Experience implementing service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
- Required experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes cluster administration and orchestration.
- Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and container runtimes.
- Experience deploying applications using Helm and managing Kubernetes manifests.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices and network policies.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
