What You’ll Do:
The System Integration Specialist will design, implement, and maintain integrations across enterprise IT service management (ITSM) platforms, including JIRA, GitLab, and related systems. This role focuses on ensuring seamless data synchronization, workflow automation, and secure interoperability between tools that support mission‑critical development and operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in API integrations, authentication protocols, and automation scripting to streamline cross‑platform communication and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Integrate JIRA, GitLab, and other ITSM platforms to support automated workflows, synchronized data exchange, and unified operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain API‑based solutions to enable system interoperability and secure data transfer between enterprise applications.
  • Implement secure authentication and identity federation mechanisms using OAuth, SAML, and other enterprise authentication protocols.
  • Create automation scripts to streamline data synchronization, reduce manual effort, and improve system reliability.
  • Ensure integration solutions comply with organizational security policies and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and maintain documentation for all integration workflows.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to align integration capabilities with mission and system requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of ITSM processes through automation and enhanced tool interoperability.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or a minimum of five (5) years of equivalent experience in system integration.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • Integrating ITSM platforms such as JIRA and GitLab
  • Developing API‑driven integration solutions
  • Implementing secure identity federation and authentication workflows
  • Proficiency with OAuth, SAML, and enterprise authentication protocols.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills to support cross‑platform data exchange.
  • Solid understanding of system interoperability principles and secure integration practices.
  • Active TS/SCI
