What You’ll Do:
The Program Manager (AI Programs) will serve as the primary point of contact for the Government and will be responsible for oversight and coordination of all AI-related program activities, including delivery management, stakeholder engagement, resource coordination, schedule and cost management, subcontractor oversight, and governance across multiple AI and intelligent automation initiatives.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Government leadership, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), stakeholders, subcontractors, and delivery teams.
- Provide overall program leadership and governance across AI, intelligent automation, cloud modernization, analytics, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Manage program scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, risks, deliverables, and operational performance metrics.
- Lead cross-functional teams supporting AI/ML solutions, generative AI initiatives, large language models (LLMs), robotic process automation (RPA), cloud services, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise integrations.
- Oversee delivery execution to ensure alignment with contractual requirements, strategic objectives, and organizational priorities.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, executive briefings, governance meetings, and program status reporting.
- Manage subcontractor performance, resource coordination, and workforce planning across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security, privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements including FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, NIST, and related frameworks.
- Support operational transformation initiatives by identifying process improvements, innovation opportunities, and modernization strategies.
- Collaborate with technical architects, engineers, analysts, and business teams to drive successful implementation and adoption of AI-enabled solutions.
- Monitor program risks, dependencies, and issues while developing mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Support strategic planning, acquisition support activities, and enterprise modernization roadmaps within federal, state, local government, education, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
- 12+ years of continuous program and project management experience supporting enterprise IT, AI/ML initiatives, digital transformation, cloud modernization, or intelligent automation programs, including at least five (5) years leading large-scale AI or enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional technical teams delivering AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, automation, and enterprise integration services.
- Proven experience managing enterprise AI initiatives involving generative AI, large language models (LLMs), analytics platforms, automation/RPA, and cloud-based AI services.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale or multi-agency technology modernization programs involving cross-functional delivery teams, executive governance, operational transformation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience interfacing with Government CORs, executive leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to manage priorities, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery of AI programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, delivery schedules, staffing coordination, subcontractor management, budgeting, and executive reporting.
- Strong familiarity with AI governance, data privacy, security compliance requirements, stakeholder engagement protocols, and operational performance management practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Federal, State, Local Government, education, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments involving compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, NIST, or equivalent standards.
- Experience working within federal, state, or cooperative contracting environments, including multi-agency or enterprise-scale delivery programs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution, or nine (9) years of qualifying program management experience in lieu of a degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or related program management certifications.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI strategy development.
- Experience supporting enterprise data modernization, analytics transformation, or AI operations (AIOps) initiatives.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems integration, and modernization methodologies.
- Experience supporting proposal efforts, strategic planning, or business development initiatives within government contracting environments.
